Joy, Freshness, Vitality, Rebirth. These are the feelings that the Pantone Institute wants to transmit for this 2017, through this color: greenery or yellow green.
Since the year 2000, the Pantone Institute chooses a color that marks trend in all areas; Architecture, interior decoration, fashion, accessories, makeup, gastronomy, etc.
For this year, Leatrice Eiseman - Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute wanted something serene and harmonious:
"Greenery talks about unity and community, connecting with yourself and others, to a higher purpose (...)This is the color of hope and the connection with nature."
