MODALISBOA #LEGACY #LISBON FASHION WEEK (PART I)

This weekend was the 43th Edition of ModaLisboa.This edition´s theme it was called Legacy and is all about making a tribute to the roots of the Portuguese Fashion.
Este fim de semana foi a 43a edição da ModaLisboa.Esta edição foi chamada de  Legacy (Legado) e trata-se de fazer uma homenagem às raízes da Moda Portuguesa.

• LIDIJA KOLOVRAT (WAVE SPRING/SUMMER 2015)

The ocean, the water...is an element very important of the history of Portugal. So "wave" is the perfect name for giving a tribute to the legacy of the sea. So for this collection, the blue, grey, white&black, very presents. Geometric lines that remind us the rocks and the waves.
O oceano, a água ... é um elemento muito importante da história de Portugal. Assim, "onda" é o nome perfeito para dar um tributo ao legado do mar. Assim, para esta coleção, o azul, cinza, branco e preto, muito presentes. Linhas geométricas que lembram as rochas e as ondas.

• SAYMYNAME (ESCARAVELHOS (BEETLES) SPRING/SUMMER 2015)

Catarina Sequeira, the fashion designer from SAYMYNAME, tells that her collection is inspired in the beetles. In their funny side, their anatomy combined with an hard-rock style very feminine. The key colors of this collection, of the beetles is black & white. (Personally I really like this collection and presented with those color mustard sandals the result is amazing.)

Catarina Sequeira, o designer de moda de SAYMYNAME, diz que a sua coleção é inspirada nos escaravelhos. No seu lado divertido, na sua anatomia combinada com um estilo hard-rock muito feminino. As cores principais desta coleção, dos escaravelhos são o  preto e o branco. (Pessoalmente, gosto desta coleção e apresentado com as sandálias cor mostarda, o resultado é incrível.)

• CARLOS GIL (MATCH POINT SPRING/SUMMER 2015)

With the motto that life can be a game ( that´s why the name of Match Point) Carlos Gil has got inspiration in the dots that make a line. So stripes, circles, geometric figures, dots and lines combined with black & white - that represents the dark and the light of life - and pale rose represent all this sporty collection.

Com o lema de que a vida pode ser um jogo (daí o nome de Match Point) Carlos Gil teve inspiração nos pontos que formam uma linha. Então, riscas, círculos, figuras geométricas, pontos e linhas combinadas com o preto e branco - que representam a escuridão e a luz da vida - e o rosa pálido representam toda esta coleção desportiva.
